Who are we?

The St. Cecilia School of Music offers the very best in high-quality music for your wedding ceremony, reception, business meeting, conference, promotion or private party. Our experienced musicians are all accomplished players and have a 40-year reputation for excellence within the community.

What do we play?

The style of music performed ranges from classical to light classical interspersed with popular modern arrangements. The sight and sound of the String Quartet is elegant, sophisticated, unobtrusive and always very impressive.

What do we do?

The String Quartet is the most versatile and popular of the music groups we offer. The beautiful sound of the full string orchestra is also available but special rates and conditions apply.

Pricing

Prices for hiring our String Quartet

are as follows:

1 hour - $450

2 hours - $630

3 hours - $860

4 hours - $1150

An additional travel fee may be applied to functions where the travel time to the venue exceeds 45 minutes. Any additional travel charge will be fixed at the time of the quote. Quotes for function lengths not listed above (eg 2.5 hours) can be obtained by request

Repertoire

Requests for the performance of music which is not in our repertoire may attract additional charges if music needs to be sourced or re-arranged to suit the instruments.

Where We Play

We are Launceston-based in the north of Tasmania, but we are available to play

state-wide.
